This website is operated by Rainforest Reiki and Meditation. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Rainforest Reiki and Meditation, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Our Site is hosted on Hostgator. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

5A PAYMENT OPTIONS- COUPONS OR PROMOTIONAL CODES
Coupons and promotional codes may be used to purchase services and/or content (workshops, programs) on Rainforest Reiki and Meditation website. We reserve the right to limit the number of coupons or promotional codes.
Expiry: There is no monetary value for coupons or promotional codes. Coupons or promotional codes may have an expiry dates, or may have a limited number of uses.
Redemption: coupons and promotional codes are redeemable for services or content provided by Rainforest Reiki and Meditation Website subject to availability. They cannot be redeemed for cash or be applied to previous purchases.
Non-transferable- Coupons and promotional codes are non transferable. They may not be transferred to another party and are for personal use only.
Rainforest Reiki and Meditation reserves the right to alter, end, or extend the expiry date, discounted dollar amount or percentage, and number of uses without prior notice.

Reiki is a stress reduction and relaxation technique. Reiki treatments received are for wellness purposes only, and they are not a substitute for your primary care physician’s medical advice. Rainforest Reiki and Meditation and Rachel Clark do not diagnose conditions, prescribe substances, perform medical treatments, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional.
To receive the maximum benefit of any Reiki treatment, it is your responsibility to fully commit to your self-improvement and be willing to change positively to your benefit. Long-term imbalances with the body, mind, and spirit may take multiple treatments to return to balance. A Reiki treatment or program recommended must be followed to facilitate maximum efficacy. Results are not guaranteed.
Reiki is a fully clothed, spiritual practice and is not a physical massage. By engaging with Rainforest Reiki and Meditation, you acknowledge and understand that our website is a space for inspiration and not a substitute for expert medical care. Always prioritize your health by seeking advice from your primary care physician.
SECTION 9C – HEALTH AND WELLNESS DISCLAIMER- COUNSELLING
Student Counsellor Acknowledgment
You acknowledge and consent to receive counselling from Rainforest Reiki and Mediation and Rachel Clark. You acknowledge that Rachel Clark is a student counsellor and under supervision and may discuss your sessions or portions of your sessions with her supervisor. You acknowledge that your identity and any identifying information will be protected and remain confidential at all times during any supervisory discussions now or in the future. You further understand that Rachel Clark must provide counselling within her competence limits. If information arises that is outside of her scope of practice a referral may be made to a specialist to ensure the best possible care is provided. You acknowledge that as student counsellor, she is unable to participate in any legal proceedings.
Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance in the counselling relationship. Your identity and/or any identifying information will not be released to any third party without your explicit written consent, with the following exceptions:
- You provide written consent
- There is a threat of harm to you or to another individual (Duty to Warn)
- A minor has been, currently is or there is suspicion of harm or threat of harmful situation (Duty to Warn)
- There is a court order for the release of information
These terms may be revised, updated or altered without prior written consent.
SECTION 10 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally, our site or the Service may contain information with typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times, and availability. By booking, attending, or receiving any service (Reiki, meditation, counselling, workshops, or any other offering, in-person or virtual), you expressly agree that:
- Exclusive Jurisdiction Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use, the services provided, including the therapeutic relationship, shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of British Columbia, Canada sitting in the judicial district of Vancouver.
- Consent to Jurisdiction & Venue You irrevocably attorn and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and waive any objection based on lack of personal jurisdiction, improper venue, or forum non conveniens.
3.Waiver of Other Jurisdictions You agree not to commence any legal proceeding in any other province, territory, or country, even if you reside outside Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
